Electromagnetic oscillations of very high frequency can penetrate through objects and in this way experience greater or lesser weakening of intensity depending on the material density and thickness. The radiation hits a film that is sensitive to radiation and creates blackened areas on it. Flawed positionings are blackened more strongly.
